Becky and I were privileged to see a live taping of Late Night With Conan O’Brien. You wouldn’t believe how small that studio is. Conan came out before the show began and hammed it up with the audience. Conan is taller than he looks on television. He’s probably 6'2 or 6'3.

Talk about atmosphere! The Mars 2000 restaurant in New York definitely has lots of atmosphere! In this place you actually take a spaceship to the main dining area.

While Becky and I were in New York, JFK, Jr, Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and Lauren Bessette died in a plane crash just off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard. At the time of the crash, the three were headed to the Martha’s Vineyard airport to drop off Lauren Bessette before flying to Cape Cod for the wedding of Rory Kennedy, the youngest daughter of Ethel and the late Robert F. Kennedy. Pictured here is a tribute to JFK, Jr that was placed just outside of his New York office.

New York is home to many beautiful cathedrals like the one pictured above. I wrote the name of the cathedral when I took the picture but can’t find that paper now. If you know the name of the cathedral pictured above, would you please email me and let me know? Steiph Zargon, a former New Yorker, believes this could be St Patrick’s Cathedral.
