Hottubs

Here’s a shot of the hot tubs in the main pool area. Becky and I didn’t use these even once because the weather was too cold for most of the cruise. We enjoyed the single hot tub in the solarium because the solarium was covered and warmer. Notice the little blue chair on the left. That’s for physically challenged folks. There is a chair like this connected to a boom that enables physically challenged people to enjoy the main pool.

Becky On Solarium Bridge

And speaking of the solarium, here’s Becky perched on a bridge over the solarium’s pool. Becky felt right at home with the solarium’s African-themed décor. The solarium is mostly an adults-only area. Younger folks are allowed to be in the solarium at certain times when accompanied by adults. The solarium’s retractable roof is pictured in the upper right of the photo.

The Solarium's Hottub

Here’s the hot tub that Becky and I enjoyed a couple of times. It’s located at the forward end of the pool. We met a fellow guest here whose sister works for the same school district as Becky. At night the solarium was equally beautiful. Our English dinnermate, Joe, slept in the solarium’s lounge chairs.

Solarium Entrance

This photo shows the cool design of the connection between solarium’s pool and hot tub.

The Spa Tree

Becky took this photo near the spa and hair salon. She was impressed by the artificial tree trunk and the painted clouds on the ceiling. Notice how light it is outside. Becky took this photo at 4:36 am (Alaska time).
