My beautiful bride poses for a photo beside
this sign welcoming visitors to the port of George Town, Grand
Cayman. The Cayman Islands are situated approximately halfway
                  between Cuba and Honduras.

Our ship was just one of three ships anchored
in the bay at George Town. Behind Becky you can see Carnival’s Imagination,
the Sun, and I believe that’s Carnival’s Celebration or Victory on
the other side of the Sun.

Here’s a shot of the George Town waterfront.
I don’t know how many tropical storms George Town experiences,
but the water has to rise only about eight feet before flooding
the streets. I took this photo on July 15, 2002, and the heat
was terrible. The waterfront afforded passersby a convenient
opportunity to take a quick dip as they toured George Town
                  by foot.

This photo is of approximately the same geographical
area as the previous photo, except this photo was taken from
the streets of George Town’s many small tourist shops.
This is a part of George Town’s large shopping district.
