What thriving tourist town would be complete without a Hard Rock Café?

Here’s the most fun you can have in George Town, Grand Cayman—swimming with stingrays. These Stealth Bomber-looking fish are like submarine puppies. Playful, docile, and eager to be fed, the stingrays were in a hurry to join us as soon as we dropped anchor on the huge reef.

This wide-angle shot of our stingray encounter shows how many of us there were and how many stingrays we encountered. Of course, not all of us could fit on the single pontoon pictured here. There were three or four more boats.

Here’s one last photo from our stingray encounter. The tour guides took this picture with their digital camera. We could have used our camera if we’d been willing to walk on the reef with our camera in hand. Becky and I had a wonderful time playing with the stingrays and we strongly encourage all who visit George Town to take part in this excursion.
